People sometimes ask us why we love to photograph events like Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.
Our honest answer is that we feel privileged to be able to capture each family’s story in the context of such a special life cycle event and we push ourselves to create something very special for them.
We become part of the family for the day, a usually very long day!, so we always make sure to have fun together!
Last week we became became part of Leah’s family and had the best time.

We just can’t thank those weather gods enough for having kept it dry, despite a terrible! forecast, on the night of Katie’s Bat Mitzvah/Sweet 16 celebration.
Katie becoming a Bat Mitzvah was a very special occasion. In fact, it was her own personal choice, her fourteenth b-day wish, to become a daughter of the commandment. This is how she started her study of the Torah, actually a year after her jewish friends and classmates had already entered into the adult Jewish community.
