About me

My name is Sally Prissert – actually, I was born Sally Lucia Carla Maria van Slijpe, a “tulip” from the Netherlands as my husband says. When we met in Paris – I was twenty three -, I was working at Euro Disney. I had been an aspiring model, but my parents had sent me to graduate school so that I would get a real job. I was part of the pre-opening HR management team and this was a dream job. Working was a misnomer.

Ever since, and even before that, I have sought the company of children – you can call this a Peter Pan Syndrome. Back to when we met, I told my then fiancé I wanted to have a school – we could not do that, but the urge was there. So we produced our own personal “school of Ouistitis” – four boys, Maxime, Sasha, Gabriel and Noah.

Back to the Camera. For the last 12 years I have taken thousands of pictures of my “school” and their friends. They light up our walls and our coffee tables.  As I walk through the house, everyday I see my family’s faces, their smiles, our moments from times past – fragments of memory that will never fade. And it fills my heart with joy.

I really hadn’t thought about sharing this passion beyond my own family and the world around it – until recently, when they gave me the last little push to explore photography as a profession. My husband Franck had been a known amateur photographer living in his dark room in the early 70s in Paris. He kept telling me I “had a great eye” -I finally caved in…

My purpose now is just that – to fill your space with memories. This foremost includes grand parents, uncles, aunts, friends – and if you push me, the dog and critters too!

Your every day moments, the joy in your laughter, the kisses, the squeezes, the sparkle in your eyes… They are you… Your family… Your story for you to share.

Live it up, I will be there to capture it.
