Last week families and friends gathered at the 3rd Annual “A Family Affair” to benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation on the picturesque lawns of the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach. This one-of-a-kind afternoon featured a gourmet picnic, silent and live auctions and many children’s activities. The day started out quite disastrous weather-wise; it was pouring and the small tents were about to fly away (some were even ripping apart!!). Event planners made the last minute call to take some down and move all tables under the main event tent.:(
And then The Donald stopped by, looked at the heavens, had a quick chat with those weather gods and…….. look how this day turned out….Thank you Donald!
As we were climbing playsets and rolling in the mulch with all the kids during their recess time last week, we realized that we have been capturing this years’ graduates since they started in the 2s. It’s just really sweet because here at TBD is where Weesteetee started, some of those 2s were our first “official” subjects; the first families who hired us to capture their children’s souls and create beautiful art for their homes. The rest is history and we can’t tell you enough how we have been loving this venture every step along the way.
Remember Thy Children Thy Builders? This year the Temple Beth David PTO had the great idea to sell the portraits to the grandparents on the preschool grandparents day and an amazing fundraiser it was! We have to say that chasing all these beautiful children on their school family playground has become one of our favorite pass times…Here’s a few for you to enjoy; look how they all have grown!
