Sally’s style is an easy, fun photo session that is remembered as fondly as the photos she creates.
“It means the world to me to just capture who someone is, at the exact moment I’m there with my camera. People change so quickly, and memories can be so fleeting. In this digital age we need to get photos OFF the computer and onto walls and in albums where we can truly enjoy them. I love tons of laughing, being silly and having fun, and my clients do too.”
Using a documentary style, Sally will both watch and connect with your child. She wants to journal this time in your family’s life with photographs, as well as take portraits that can instantly capture the essence of who your child really is.
Sally will come to you. Your home, the beach, your favorite park, or even a birthday party or special event are all part of her studio. By having your family in surroundings that they feel comfortable with, it makes the experience enjoyable, and that will come across in your portraits. As a mother herself, Sally knows that portrait sessions can be stressful. Not anymore.
Depending on the kind of session you will most of the time see Sally partner with danish photographer Lotte “L” Gudbrand. Together they make sure to capture all the special moments.
A session with Weesteetee is never rushed. Sally and Lotte offer up to two hours of low-key, quality time to really capture who your child is. You will never have to feel anxious about getting them to smile, because each session is laid back and fun. Your child may need a hug, a snack, or even some silly time to get comfortable in front of the camera. That’s perfect, because that’s when Sally and Lotte will be able to get the pictures that are really them.
A few days after your session, we will Email you the link and password to your private online gallery. A gallery typically includes 25-40 images from your session with selected images presented in B&W or with other artistic finished. You can send that link to family and friends so they can see your images. After that we are here to help you put together your order.
Clothing is key to making sessions awesome. When you book a session, you will receive an info packet that has clothing suggestions with lots of do’s and dont’s to help you out. In general loose fitting solids and bare feet work best. We are here to help with all your questions.
