In fact, it was her own personal choice, her fourteenth b-day wish, to become a daughter of the commandment. This is how she started her study of the Torah, actually a year after her jewish friends and classmates had already entered into the adult Jewish community. It is needless to say that it takes a lot of courage and determination to choose this path and for that Katie, you should be very proud of yourself. For us, it was a true joy and honor to be there to capture the moments. Their property actually touches one of our favorite shooting locations so it was easy to just grab Marli and Bella the dogs for a full family shot. During her portrait session she introduced us to her soulmates Ollie (the dog) and Bailey (the horse). We also finally got to meet her sister Charlotte.:) Again, just like with Anna and Leah last week, you will notice how one minute we capture the girl and the next the "woman" to be...it's really fascinating.
