Grandpa scheduled our session months in advance when he found out the children would be in town for the holidays. Instead of our regular afternoon sunset sessions we opted for an early morning one, started out in the wetlands in the back of his community and slowly made our way back to the clubhouse where we arrived right on time for breakfast.

We absolutely love our job.
Nop, we were not chasing the little ones in the fields, climbing rocks with them or on a dancefloor with 75 thirteen year olds (our every day joy and therapy) … This time around we had the privilege of shooting two people head over heals for one another.
It was a pretty night, with a pretty couple in town for their engagement session!

This precious little twosome from NY was in town for the week visiting their grandparents. Grandma did a great job getting them ready for our shoot with some cool outfit changes and accessories.
Negotiations with little Cole to wear the hats were intense at times (he is wise and smart waaaay beyond his three years of age ) and the on and off rain made our afternoon quite a challenge but we had a great time!
The beauty of florida afternoons is that in one two hour session we often get to work with many different light scenarios which makes the job so much more interesting and fun. We feel blessed never having to work in an indoor studio (except for the little newborns of course)
These two have amazing chemistry; Reese is the greatest loving and caring big sis and yummie Cole does not leave her side.

A few weeks ago we celebrated his 6th b-day in style at the Mirasol Country Club. Friends and family gathered and enjoyed the amazing Otter John‘s animal show followed by our favorite magician, the great Jamie Porter.
