Emilia, Bailey & Ollie

We are counting the days until Emmy’s Bat Mitzvah which is coming up in March.

During her portrait session she introduced us to her soulmates Ollie (the dog) and Bailey (the horse). We also finally got to meet her sister Charlotte.:)

Again, just like with Anna and Leah last week, you will notice how one minute we capture the girl and the next the “woman” to be…it’s really fascinating.

Enjoy!

Drew and Ace (the dog)

It felt just so good to be back in Northwood Village. Besides some commercial work, it had been a while since we did a children’s session at one of our favorite shooting locations. As we are making friends with the residents and shop & restaurant owners we really feel part of the family when we are out there. :)

Old Northwood was developed in the early 1920s during the Florida boom era. Prominent architects such as John Volk and William King designed homes that made Old Northwood one of the most exclusive communities this side of Palm Beach. By the 1970s, however, the boom time glamour was long gone. The renaissance of Old Northwood began in the mid eighties when residents formed an association to revitalize and restore this important part of West Palm Beach history.

We highly recommend you visit the neighborhood’s next monthly Art & Wine Promenade. The next one is next week on November 18th. You will love it!

Back to our session.

We had an absolute blast with Drew and Mr. Ace, the BEST dog EVER! In and out the car about 5 times he would just make himself comfortable wherever we told him to. A special thank you goes out to Tasha, a gem of a nanny who was such a KEY player to get these shots done! Drew was just the coolest! We woke him up from his afternoon nap when we arrived on location and he was all game within a few minutes!

ENJOY this precious twosome! It was hard to make a selection for our readers and we can’t wait to show the family all the images.

Camma

Camma had a photoshoot to surprise her loving owner with some fine art portrait for his office. Very shortly after our session she went to dog heaven; she would have turned 15 on July 1st. Rest in Peace Camma.

Low Tide

We get so excited when we go out on the very low tide afternoons when our families can walk on the shallow water with the treasures of the sea right at their feet! Enjoy Faye, CJ and Davis (and mom and dad who joined in the fun with .. the dogs) This threesome got very creative with the rocks; using them as lounge chairs, hiding their entire bodies…not hesitating to get really wet from time to time :)

Lucky Dog

We had so much fun capturing Ethan, big sister Annie and the newest addition to the family; Charly the dog! We did not really know what to expect taking her to discover the sand and ocean for the first time but she loved every second of it!:). Annie looked after her like a real mama, making sure she would not eat anything in the sand and carrying her around whenever she decided that was the safer choice. Just precious!
Lucky Charly; such an integral part of the family already in only a couple of weeks.

Watching Ethan become one with the environment was another high of our session with this adorable threesome; as hesitant as he was to get wet and sandy to begin with, he could not get enough of those waves and rocks by the time we were done!:)
